The library is located on the first floor of the school, located at the address Republic of Tatarstan "href="/text/category/tatarstan/" rel="bookmark">Tatarstan, Alkeevsky district, village of Bazarnye Mataki St. ***. The total area of the premises is 72 sq. m. m. The library is equipped with tables and chairs, shelves, cabinets, a TV, and a librarian's work station equipped with a computer.

The library's book collection consists of textbooks, fiction, popular science and methodological literature. In total, the book fund contains 28,250 books. Textbook fund: 14,404 copies (of which 11,379 are from the federal list; 3,025 are from the regional list). The fund is replenished from revenues from the federal and regional budgets.

The library's opening hours are from 8.00 to 14.00 daily, with a day off on Sunday.

The library operates according to a plan approved by the director of the MAOU Secondary School, agreed upon with the deputy director for VR, methodologist of the IMTsO Zainullina; service is carried out in accordance with the standards and instructions given in the methodological manual “Technologies for operating a school library” (instructional and methodological materials and accounting forms),

The main objectives of the school library are:

1. Ensuring the most complete and rapid access to information resources.

2. Collection, accumulation, processing, systematization of pedagogical information and bringing it to the user.

3. Identification of information needs and satisfaction of requests from school teaching staff in the field of new information technologies and pedagogical innovations.

Reader Services

In the 2011 – 2012 academic year 376 bibliographic references completed. When performing bibliographic references, both traditional and electronic media were used. Analysis of references shows that most often users turn to the library, looking for material for doing homework, for writing reports, essays on instructions from teachers. Informational and business reading predominates.

Literature for younger schoolchildren is provided for open access in the following sections: “About our smaller brothers”, “Visiting a fairy tale”, “Tatar writers for children”.

Pedagogical workers are interested in methods of teaching academic subjects, teaching and raising children, and the latest pedagogical technologies. The most frequently in demand periodicals are “Bulletin of Education of Russia”, “Class Teacher”, “Last Call”, “Pedagogical Council”, “Public Education”. For all these publications there are card indexes of newspaper and magazine articles “To help the educational process”, “The book is the best friend”, “Environmental education”, “The Great Patriotic War”, “Organization of the educational process”

Significant indicators in the work of the library are the following indicators:

The indicators indicate that the fund is clogged, which leads to its low turnover. Readability is somewhat lower than the statistical average due to the fact that the book ceases to be the only source of information.

The library keeps a “diary” of not only book lending by category of readers, but also a division of the literature read by topic. This can be shown in a diagram like this:

Thus, the most popular among readers is fiction and literature for grades 1-4. However, the fiction read generally fits within the framework of the school curriculum. And only some students take books to read in their free time.

The most active readers of the school library are the following students:

1. Chuklyaeva A (11 "b")

2. (11 "B")

3. (11 "A")

4. (11 "b")

5. (10 "B")

6. (9 "a")

7. (9 "in")

8. Kamalova E(9"A")

9. (9 "A")

10. (8 "B")

11. (8 "B")

12. (8 "b")

13. (8 "A")

14. (3 "b")

15. (3 "B")

16. (3 "B")

17. (3 "B")

18. (5"A")

19. (5 B")

21. (5 "a")

22. (3 "B")

23. (3"A")

24. (3 "a")

The low interest of children in reading lies in the insufficient acquisition of the fund and the fact that recently a number of publications with ready-made solutions, essays, etc. have appeared.

The children learned to work with the book in a playful way, answered tricky questions, showing their erudition. The educational effectiveness of this lesson is the ability to work in a team: large and small (groups); improving the culture of the listener and reader. The lesson had a lot of visuals, a book exhibition was set up, and media equipment was used. Teachers took into account the dosage of using equipment in order to prevent and preserve the health of students. The general emotional background of the lesson is a friendly, creative atmosphere.

In other lessons, various types of student activities were used, and a variety of delivery forms was observed. These lessons have great educational value, instill a love of reading, and develop cognitive interests.

Thematic classes were held together with the regional central children's library:

with 5 "b" class "Bazhov Readings" - class leader Tleulenova A.S.

with 7 “B” class “Bazhov Festival” - principal teacher Kucherova S.A.

with 9 “a, b” classes - “200 years since the birth of N.V. Gogol” - class leaders: Tokareva L.M., Onikienko E.V.

The school library is the first information center for our students. It is here that the skills of independent search, critical assessment of the information received, comparison of information obtained from various sources should be acquired: both from traditional (books, magazines, newspapers) and from non-traditional ones.

Every year an order is placed for new textbooks. The librarian and school administration participate in the formation of the order.

In order to prevent the safety of textbooks, the librarian conducts conversations with readers - children on subscription, and class teachers during class hours. Raids were systematically carried out to ensure the safety of textbooks.

At the end of the school year, textbooks are handed over by grade according to schedule.

II.Content and organization of work with readers.

At the end of the school year, an analysis of students' reading activity is carried out. Based on the results of the analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn.

In the 2013-2014 school year, average reading activity rates increased significantly, while the number of passive readers decreased. There are no readers using only educational literature at the end of the year. The percentage increase in active readers increased across all tiers.

Number of readers: 235

The increase in reader activity occurred due to the replenishment of the fund of reference literature and fiction by modern authors. A lot of republished children's literature by Baigobylov, Ryan.R, Cope R, Nikolai Nosov and other authors has been received. In the 2nd and 9th grades, the supply of fiction and program literature has increased. Primary school students are especially active in reading; in the middle level these are students in grades 5, 6, 9. Students in grades 9-11 take not only programmatic works, but also a lot of literature on history, critical material, and books by contemporary authors. First grade students traditionally get acquainted with the school library in September. And at the end of December, a ceremonial registration takes place for first-graders, the first library lesson “First reading lessons, first lessons of kindness.” Students become familiar with the concept of “library”, “librarian”. This lesson is interesting, educational with poems and riddles. Individual work with readers is constantly carried out. Conversations are held regularly to study the reader's interest and breadth of the reader's horizons.

Teachers are interested in the methods of teaching academic subjects and the latest pedagogical technologies. Of the periodicals, magazines and newspapers are especially popular: “Class Teacher”, “Class Teacher's Handbook”, “Last Bell”, “Teacher's Newspaper”.

III. Reference and bibliographic work

The library continues to work on collecting material in thematic storage folders

Folders have been compiled to help class teachers:

- « My motherland is Kazakhstan".

- “Great names.”

- “State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

- "Did you know?".

- “You and your future profession” for career guidance.

Much work was carried out among students in promoting library and bibliographic knowledge. Library reviews and library lessons are held throughout the school year for readers of all age groups. At these events, the children got acquainted with the latest periodicals intended for their age, learned about the reference apparatus of encyclopedias, and became acquainted with the latest fiction. Library users are presented with a “Review of literature received in the school library over the summer.”

IV. Promotion of reading as a form of cultural leisure.

The role of the library in the promotion of literature is enormous. Helping students navigate the wealth of books and take an active part in school life is the responsibility of the school librarian. The school library's job is to each reader found his book, received the necessary advice, found myself in an environment favorable for self-education and self-discovery of personality.

The most important activity of the library is disclosure of the fund through exhibitions. The library organizes various exhibitions for anniversaries and significant dates, as well as for various months. There are also permanent book exhibitions, which are regularly updated with newly arrived literature: “New Arrivals”. The most significant and successful were the cycles of exhibitions on calendar dates. When selecting material for these exhibitions, you try to tell not only the history of the holiday, provide interesting facts, but also offer literature from the exhibition and talk with readers. Particular attention is paid to exhibitions dedicated to anniversaries. Readers are offered a short biography of the writer, his books are exhibited, and quizzes are held. Last academic year, readers became acquainted with the works of A. Tarazi, K. Tokayev, N. Nosov, Ch. Aitmatov.

Preserving reading traditions in the family is the key to successfully introducing children to reading. This determined the main focus of the entire work of the school library. Almost all activities contributed to the development of interest in reading. Together with the teaching staff, various forms of work to promote the book were used. One of the important points in this work is public events, because It is at extracurricular events that live communication with the children occurs. This reviews, discussions, matinees, quizzes, holidays.

All events conducted by the library were aimed at literary, historical, and tolerant education of schoolchildren, promoting patriotic, moral, aesthetic education and forming an attractive image of books and reading.

During the 2013-2014 academic year, events were held.

One of the most favorite stages of work is serving readers with subscriptions. We learned to write down books in a form, helped primary school students choose books;

We took an active part in many school library events.

VII. Interaction with other services and other organizations

I take part in decades and months announced by the school:

Decade of Self-Knowledge.

Decade of the Kazakh language.

Ten days of primary school.

To increase children's interest in books, the school library works closely with the rural library. Throughout the year, the library provides assistance to teachers and class teachers in holding public events, class hours, and subject weeks. A selection of literature, scripts, poems is made; book exhibitions are being organized. The school library instills in students the need for constant self-education, fosters responsibility, and pays attention to the promotion of literature to help school programs.

The library promotes reading and the resources and services of school libraries both inside and outside the school. Tries to achieve systematic reading, instills interest in periodicals, and works with the active readership.

The goals set for the academic year have been fully achieved. All planned events have been carried out.

General conclusions and suggestions:

4. The size of the book fund At the beginning of the school year, parent meetings are held in classes to explain the procedure for providing textbooks, in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On approval of the Rules for providing textbooks to students and pupils of educational organizations.” The missing sets of textbooks for classes are purchased at the expense of parents through the distribution network; also, for some subjects, textbooks from older publication years are issued; in the opinion of subject teachers, they can be used in the implementation of educational programs; inter-library exchange of textbooks is carried out within the district schools.

Organization of library services. One of the most important tasks of the school library is to help the school in instilling in the younger generation the desire to acquire in-depth knowledge of the subjects of the school curriculum. Arouse children's interest in knowledge; to introduce people to reading, to promote literature to help the educational process, to cultivate a love of books, a caring attitude towards textbooks, using conversations when registering for a library, excursions to solve these problems, and pay attention to individual work with readers. The formation of a fund helps us in this with the goal of ensuring the educational process as fully as possible, taking into account the tasks and specifics of the school. The library has formed a fund according to the sectoral composition of the fund, including educational, reference, fiction, popular science literature for students, pedagogical and methodological literature for teaching staff. To implement the school curriculum, educational and methodological literature is purchased annually at the expense of the district budget; an analysis of the library collection indicates that the receipt of educational literature from an accounting point of view can be schematically depicted as follows:

In accordance with the instructional and methodological letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the library receives the following textbooks:

2011-2012 academic year year - 458 copies.

2012-2013 academic year year - 227 copies.

2013-2014 academic year year - 671 copies.

From the analysis of receipts it follows that the supply of textbooks is increasing annually. In 2011-12, we received 100% of the notebooks and were supplemented with textbooks on Self-Knowledge. Educational literature was received in the amount of 50% of the total number of students in 2013, and in 2014 - 70%. Parents purchase the missing textbooks themselves at the bookstore.

An analysis of the provision of textbooks showed that 55% of primary-level students are provided with textbooks, 5,6,7,8,9, 11 - 75% from the budget and 25% from parents. 10th grade -100% at the expense of the budget.

The library’s work is based on the annual “Library Work Plan”, which is included in the general plan of educational work. The entire fund is located on shelves. The fund by branches of knowledge is systematically located on the shelves. The books are arranged in departments, located behind dividers, which indicate the index of the branch of knowledge to which the book belongs. Fiction is arranged on the shelves in alphabetical order. The fund for preschoolers and students in grades 1-4 is arranged thematically. The general title is “Your first books” and subsections: “Poems for children”, “The world of fairy tales”, “For children about animals”. Literature for students in grades 5-11 is arranged in alphabetical order. The most read books and favorite genres are highlighted on the shelves. These are “Travel, Adventure, Fantasy”, “Treasures of World Literature”.

The combination of a genre with a specific topic makes it possible to switch children’s attention to books of a scientific and educational nature: from adventure stories to reading historical literature: from science fiction novels to getting acquainted with books on technology and natural history

The library also has reference books. Reference publications include encyclopedias, reference books, and dictionaries. For younger schoolchildren, the fund has encyclopedic publications: “What is it?”, “Pochemuchka”, and for teenagers “Children’s Encyclopedia”, several volumes of Akimushkin’s “Life of Animals”. We also use general encyclopedias in our work. This is “TSB”, “Soviet Encyclopedic Dictionary”, encyclopedia “Kazakh SSR” in 4 volumes. The specificity of the requests of readers, even of a younger age, requires turning to these publications. Over the past two years, the reference apparatus has been filled with new publications, such as reference books on biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, geography, and history. Books of a reference nature: “Ancient Cities”, etc., which allows you to fulfill the requests of readers and teaching staff. All this literature is recorded in inventory books. Literature records are also kept in the “Book of Summary Records”. Now the fund has begun to be replenished with new publications, but we still receive them in small quantities. With frequent use and careless treatment, which occurs in our lives, the book deteriorates over time, loses its original appearance, and further work with it becomes difficult. Textbooks are especially susceptible to this. Therefore, one of the mandatory conditions for using the library collection is careful handling of the book. Discussions were held in classes about the rules for using books. We conduct “Live the Book” raids. The guys help process newly received literature and carry out minor repairs to books and textbooks. For elementary school children there is a “Knizhkina Hospital”, where minor repairs of books are carried out. Daily relevant conversations “A book is my best friend.” The library's readers are students, teachers and other school employees. The specifics of the school library are such that at the beginning of the school year we issue educational literature to the entire student population. Based on the analysis of the forms, it turned out that students in grades 1-4 visit the library more often than students in grades 5-7. On average, 20-25 books are read by one reader.

Direct observation of a teenager, timely advice and assistance in choosing a book help the reader develop a certain aesthetic and artistic taste. The upbringing of a child reader in the library begins from the moment when a student who has just learned to read and write first comes to the library. Our task is to select from all the books those that would be accessible to the child’s understanding and give him new knowledge. To achieve this, the library uses visual propaganda - displaying publications or revealing their contents in visually perceptible forms. Forms of visual propaganda, open access to books, illustrated book exhibitions, literature viewings. Depending on the theme and significance, exhibitions are organized for different periods. For a beginning reader, coming and signing up for a library is a significant event. He not only, together with his comrades, gets acquainted with the library and its rules, but also becomes an independent reader.

Organization of library services. The main task of the library is to ensure the educational process and self-education through library and information-bibliographic services for students, teachers and other categories of readers. The library cooperates with public libraries of the Central Library and libraries of other schools in the region. The work follows the principle of a differentiated approach to readers, taking into account their individual, age and psychological characteristics, and reading interests. The “Golden Shelf for Little Readers” is popular. “Put the books you like on this shelf.”
