Explanatory note

The main task in the study of subjects of the natural cycle is the development of cognitive interest, intellectual and creative abilities of students. A large role in solving this problem is given to the system of extracurricular activities. The events of the subject week expand the scope of studying various disciplines, offer various forms of activity, contribute to the personal development of students, their professional self-determination. A subject week provides ample opportunities for awakening the interest of pupils in nature and the problems of its protection. It allows for a comprehensive, integrated development of interest in subjects of the natural cycle, since many students have a narrow outlook, low learning motivation, limited knowledge about nature, and a consumer attitude towards it. Extracurricular work in subjects of the natural cycle allows you to expand the horizons of students, increase motivation for learning, develop creative abilities, provide an opportunity to use their knowledge in practice, and help teenagers acquire effective communication skills. As a result of extracurricular activities, students can be formed and developed: tolerance, social, cognitive, creative activity, the ability to work in cooperation with others, be responsible for their decisions, communication skills: respect for themselves and others; personal and mutual responsibility. The form of extracurricular activities is carried out through school self-government. The development of this process in the school environment makes it possible to include children in social situations that form a certain way of behavior, and provides not only knowledge, skills and methods of activity, but also the ability to navigate in non-standard situations, primarily in situations of choice. Therefore, student self-government should be considered as a means of forming a socio-moral orientation, social activity and maturity. Self-government is one of the basic principles of the activity of the student team. Its essence lies in the real participation of schoolchildren in managing the affairs of the class and school. Real self-government assumes that its bodies not only have rights, but also bear real responsibility for their work.

(The slide "Theme of the subject week" will be displayed on the screen)

Good afternoon! Today we have an open lesson dedicated to the sciences of the natural and mathematical cycle. The main purpose of this event is the use of information technology in the process of teaching students, demonstrating interdisciplinary connections among the sciences of the natural and mathematical cycle, namely mathematics, computer science, biology. These connections are important in improving the practical and scientific-theoretical training of students, as well as in the formation of a comprehensive vision of educational subjects.

With the help of presentations and video projects, students will demonstrate to us how relevant the use of information technology is not only in the learning process, but also in the world as a whole. This is one of the most interesting areas of modern pedagogy. Firstly, the child independently chooses a plan of cognitive activity, remembers the knowledge gained better, because. independently searches for information and analyzes data. Secondly, there is cooperation between a student or groups of students with subject teachers and a computer science teacher, which contributes to the unity of the working group, the development of interest in this subject and the formation of solid knowledge.

(Slide "Great scientists" will be displayed on the screen).

We will devote part of the lesson to GREAT SCIENTISTS who have made a huge contribution to the history and development of such sciences as mathematics, computer science and biology.

Boldashova Yana - student of the 11th grade

No great praise -
And during his lifetime he did not need it:
Thought of genius in deeds.

H He was embodied in the name of glory.

His mind was ahead of the age .

IN the cycle of world events.
He dedicated his life to science
He made some wonderful discoveries.

BIOLOGY

Today, great attention should be paid to the natural scientist, thinker and public figure VLADIMIR IVANOVICH VERNADSKY, who turns 150 this year. He is the founder of modern Earth sciences - geochemistry, biogeochemistry, radiogeology, hydrogeology.

Ekaterina Mogilevkina, a student of the 11th grade, will tell us about his achievements.

(the presentation "Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadsky" is displayed)

INFORMATICS

Catherine made extensive use of information technology in the preparation of her mini-project, and in fact, for ease of use of the computer, many scientists spent sleepless nights with this miracle of technology in order to develop special software that is constantly updated and improved. One such developer is BILL GATES.Who doesn't know this name? Bill Gates is the CEO of Microsoft, a leader in computer software. The corporation's income has long exceeded tens of billions of dollars a year, and its branches are located in all countries of the civilized world. Of course, the biography of Bill Gates deserves our attention.

Aleksey Shcheglov, a student of the 11th grade, will tell us about his life and his achievements.

(The presentation "William Henry Gates" is displayed on the screen. III »)

MATHS

Today I would like to pay special attention to one of the great scientists of antiquity, Pythagoras of Samos. Why to him? Yes, because it is his theorem that we use every day in geometry lessons in the 10th and 11th grades when solving problems. Therefore, any senior student should know this Great Scientist - one of the founders of the geometry of antiquity, the theory of which we still use when studying geometry in grades 7-11.

A student of group 10-2 Elena Kiryanova will tell us about the life and discoveries of PYTHAGORAS OF SAMOS.

(the presentation "Pythagoras" is displayed)

We will devote the second part of our event to the importance of mathematics, computer science and biology in human life and the world as a whole. You often ask the question: “Why do we need mathematics?”. Teachers answer: "For the general development!". We do not get tired of repeating that it is important to study all school subjects for the comprehensive and harmonious development of the individual, for the formation of a person's worldview.

Today we will talk about the practical application of mathematics, biology, and computer science in everyday life and nature in general.

(Slide "Mathematics" is displayed on the screen)

Katya Avdeeva - student of group 11-1:

About the queen of all sciences,

We begin our speech.

Math all around

We have had many meetings with her.

It is no coincidence that she is so honored.

It is given to her to give answers,

How to make a good calculation

To build a building, a rocket.

There is a rumor about mathematics

That she puts her mind in order,

Because good words

People often talk about her.

Everything in the world is subject to strict mathematical laws. How beautifully and harmoniously created nature! A couple of the correctness of the forms is simply surprising. Flowers, a snowflake, a butterfly have a symmetrical shape, but this is all created not by man, but by nature. Igor, a student of the 10-2 Vereshchag group, will tell us about the beauty and harmony of the world as a whole, about the symmetry in nature.

(the presentation "Symmetry in Nature" is displayed)

    Reads Sokolova G.O.

(the slide “Contemplating the perfect ...” is displayed on the screen)

“Contemplating a perfect, beautiful human face and body, one involuntarily comes to the thought of some kind of hidden, mathematical elegance of its forms, of the mathematical correctness and perfection of its constituent parts. Amazing body proportions! Beautiful symmetry of the face!

For thousands of years people have been trying to find mathematical patterns in the proportions of the human body, especially a well-built, harmonious person.

One of the most interesting topics in mathematics is the harmony of the world as a whole. The universal principle of harmony and beauty in proportions is called the "golden section".

This topic is still of interest to the present. And Philip Korolev, a student of group 10-1, will tell us about the practical application of the golden mean and the golden section.

(the presentation "Golden Ratio" is displayed).

How much we have learned today about symmetry in nature.

What other mathematical concepts do we use every day? The world around us is simply overflowing with mathematics: parallels and perpendicularities, planes and space, straight lines and curves. This is what a 10th grade student Pavel Bondarevsky will tell us about

(the presentation "Geometry in Nature" is displayed)

(Slide "Informatics" will be displayed on the screen).

Khosman Marina - student of group 11-1:

The queen of sciences is mathematics.

But the princess grew up nearby -

The finest computer science

Daughter of human thought and progress.

Today without this science

It is impossible to imagine our world

She saves us from boredom.

She is our reliable assistant.

Indeed, computer science saves us from boredom, at the moment many people like to plunge into the virtual world, and even social networks are crowded in the evening.

The modern world and informatization allow us to maintain relationships with our loved ones, make new friends, receive and transmit information over a distance almost instantly. And after all to such simplicity of dialogue the mankind went centuries. And how people used to communicate, Olga Kurbatova, a student of group 10-1, will tell us about this.

(the presentation “Transfer of information from ancient times to the present day” is displayed on the screen).

Information technology is great. The possibilities of the Internet are endless, but there is no substitute for face-to-face communication. So don't forget to visit your family and friends.

We have learned how to transmit information over a distance, but where to store information (documents, photos, video files)? Vladimir Ivanov, a student of group 10-1, will tell us about this.

(the presentation "Media media" is displayed).

We advise you not to forget to make duplicates of documents that are important to you, photos and video images that are dear to you. And not only to duplicate information on electronic media, but also print it on paper.

Cases are different, technology sometimes fails, because a COMPUTER IS JUST A MACHINE-PERFORMING YOUR COMMANDS.

(Slide "Biology" is displayed on the screen)

Ivanov Ruslan - a student of 10-2 groups.

Without genetics we are nowhere

Without her there would be no man

We would not know about DNA

And the next three hundred centuries.

Biology is important

Gives beauty to the whole body,

Animals and plants need

With it, you can safely fly into space.

(

Yes, indeed, if computer science deals with our mind, then biology deals with our body. And in order for the body to be beautiful, healthy, special attention should be paid to genetics and heredity. A student of group 10-2, Ilyina Tatyana, will tell us about this.

(DNA presentation will be displayed)

(Slide "Astronomy" is displayed on the screen).

Shatalina Maria - student of group 11-1

Space is a closed book

We just opened it up a little.

But without you, astronomers, we are definitely

Couldn't see into nothingness

Astronomy is a mystery

And not everyone is able to understand

What can be, the Earth is only the outskirts

And the universal spaces are only a small part.

And your scale is unusual,

Kilometers? Yes, no matter how!

Light years is the difference

Interplanetary spaces from all coordinates.

Astronomy is a very beautiful science, and we cannot remain silent about it today. As part of our project, a trip to the Moscow Planetarium was organized, and now Anna Nikitina, a student of group 10-2, will present you with a video report.

(video is displayed)

On such a beautiful, positive note, we end our event. Thanks to all the participants for taking your project activities seriously and decorating our subject week with your work.

Video fragment:

Nature By Numbers ( )

With experience in the natural sciences,
Let's study everything that is in the sublunar world.
Only then will everything become clear.
And human understanding is wider.

A person always strives for something unknown, wants to discover something new, something that no one knows about yet. And it is this incentive that allows him to achieve his goal and achieve the desired result. To achieve his goal, he is helped by the sciences that we begin to study at school. Chemistry, geography and biology are natural sciences, which were devoted to a week in our school. A variety of activities allowed students to expand their knowledge in the field of these sciences from 04/21/2018 to 04/26/2018. Conducting subject weeks, as practice shows, helps to increase children's interest in studying the subject through extracurricular activities, through non-standard open lessons, competitions of multimedia presentations on the topics studied, the creation by students of thematic newspapers, crossword puzzles, the organization of exhibitions, thematic marathons. All students are happy to participate in such activities, regardless of academic performance. The guys do not have a feeling of fear of defeat. Meanwhile, during the game or competition, students acquire additional knowledge and information. Very often, what seems difficult and uninteresting in a lesson is learned easier, faster and with great interest. The students were informed about the Week of Biology, Chemistry and Geography in advance, preparations for it were carried out in advance, a colorfully designed announcement was announced about the beginning of the Week of schoolchildren, which contained a plan of the proposed activities of the Week. Each day of the Week was planned in such a way that it included activities in three subjects, which, in our opinion, contributed to the harmonious development of the personality of schoolchildren. The week was opened in the form of a theatrical performance "Oriental Tale of Sciences", in the preparation of which the guys from the 6th "A" class took an active part.

6 "a" class. "Oriental fairy tale"

The students showed the importance of studying the subjects of the natural science cycle.

There is science in the world, without which today it is impossible to realize the most fantastic projects and fabulous dreams. This is chemistry.

Within the framework of the Week, the teacher of chemistry, Mikhailova O.V., held: "How to become a millionaire", the intellectual game "Strong Link" - 10 classes, the competition "Fair of Experiments" - 8 classes. In addition, students of the 8th grade took part in the “Chemical Elements Solve” quiz, where they answered tricky questions on chemical elements and their properties, guessed riddles and learned a lot of interesting things about substances related to historical facts and life episodes, and presented works the students themselves with riddles, crossword puzzles, rebuses on chemical elements. 9th grade students went on a "Journey to the World of Chemistry - Enchanted Country". They had to go through a difficult path through the castle of the ice mage Krieg. If they hadn’t answered the Alchemist’s difficult questions, hadn’t bypassed the stone statues in the Gallery, hadn’t deceived the werewolves in the Tower, fallen into the “Basement of Fools”, put their smart heads under the Guillotine and didn’t come out alive - unharmed, after drinking “living or dead water” - they would have remained forever and ever in the Ice Castle. But everything turned out well for the high school students, at the same time they repeated the material from inorganic chemistry. After the end of the game, the results of the competitions were summed up and the guys received well-deserved marks!

During the geography week, a fun geographical break was held with students in grades 6-7, where the guys learned a lot of interesting things about the countries of the world and their population, about the continents and their uniqueness in a playful way. Among the 8th grades, the local history game "Journey through Yakutia" was held. During the game, the classes were divided into teams, each team had to come up with a name, motto and create an emblem. During the event, the guys actively answered the proposed questions, which contained interesting information about Yakutia. As a result, all students learned a lot of new and interesting things for themselves, worked in groups, learned to show leadership qualities.

In the 10th grade, the brain-ring "Around the World" was held. The organizer was the geography teacher Yarygina L.A.

The events in biology were also interesting. For students of the 5th grade, lessons and extracurricular activities were organized dedicated to the life and work of the writer - naturalist V. V. Bianchi in order to attract the attention of children and adolescents to the beauty and richness of nature, as well as to increase the prestige of reading. And it worked out. In the 6th grade, a lesson-game "Miracles are near us" was held. Indeed, amazing is nearby, you just have to look around! The lesson was helped by two beautiful goddesses Flora and Fauna, mistresses of the kingdoms Plants and Animals. There were competitions "Warm-up", "Hide and seek", "Think", "The most attentive", the guys told interesting facts about animals. Even the "Trees, Shrubs, Herbs" exercise session was wonderful and amazing! In the Guess the contest, the most daring and artistic guys portrayed some kind of animal in a certain comic situation: “Overslept rooster”, “Dancing bear”, “Elephant who saw a mouse”. The rest of the students guessed this animal and what happened to it. For students in grade 8, it was successfully organized by the biology teacher Tarayarova S.F. "My own game".

Each class worked in groups and participated in various competitions, including those for attentiveness, speed and quick wits. The guys learned a lot of new and interesting things. In an interesting form, a tournament of experts “What? Where? When?".

No less interesting was the game in the 10th grade "I want to know everything." The questions were serious and on very serious topics: genetics, molecular biology, metabolism. But most of all, the students liked the literary competition, in which it was necessary to determine the biological error. The problem of an interesting subject week, as well as a good lesson, is the problem of combining cognitive interest and the level of preparedness of students. It is important that these days the students were once again convinced of how many interesting, unusual, significant things there are in subjects, how they are all interconnected and necessary in the future for each of them. During the week, students were able to show their imagination, artistry, creativity, knowledge, environmental culture. According to the general opinion of the students, extra-curricular activities in chemistry, biology and geography turned out to be fun, bright and memorable.
